Default 4 Attribute Shields (for GW2)

Right now, we have 4 kinds of shields:

Tactics
Strength
Command
Motivation

Especially as a Warrior, you have the same kind of shield usually as a tactics and a strength variant, taking up storage together with the many helmets and so on.

Suggestion:

Make shields have

req. X (STR, TAC, COM or MOT)

or whatever attributes there will be in GW2.

They should be str or tac and com or mot. And not all of them. Some staves would have this too.

There are already staves and focuses with 4 attributes.

Why not shields?

as in GW2 there may be a completely different attribute or requirement system (for example level requirements) and we know nothing about it yet, we should concentrate on GW1.

And for GW1 this is a fantastic idea! (if applied well)

Some time ago I was thinking of ways to have some rare items be 'better' than an ordinary perfect but not affect balance and PvP. And this is such a cool way to do this!

How I'd like it to be done:

*Have Gold Shields (yes, only gold) occassionally (for example 20% chance)drop with a secondary requirement, always the other one of the same profession.
*both requirements should be separate - so a shield can drop with for example (Reqires 10 Strength, 11 Tactics)
*the "Master my Domain" inscription should ofcourse work on the attribute of the first requrement only, so the 2 attrib shields aren't functionally strictly better than 1 attrib.
